About Us

Trinity Design Collective (TDC) initially made their mark on the carnival world with their body artwork which attracted lines of revelers at Notting Hill Carnival in London, Labor Day in New York, and Miami Carnival for years.  Three years ago the team had a vision to bring edgy couture fashion to carnival costumes based on the bikini Mas concept in Trinidad.  Designers and founders, Simone and Makesha Gairy-Newbolt have over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry and reside in New York.  Younger sister and designer Azaria Gairy-Newbolt and co-founder Barbie Munro both live in London and have worked with a number of Notting Hill Mas bands designing and making costumes.  Each year Trinity participates in carnivals throughout the Caribbean, Europe and North America, and plan to establish a global brand of cutting edge costumes and accessories.
